Sliding Windows w/Flow Control
Purposes of sliding window:
- guarantees the reliable and efficient delivery of data
- ensures data is delivered in order (or at least corrected at receiver)
- provides for flow control
Flow control is implemented by changing the sender’s window based on the receiver’s advertised window
