• So, Banyan is nifty, but needs ascending order to be non-blocking… so precede Banyan with a sorter (Batcher)

• Batcher Network

  • provides sorting
  • may be combined to form Batcher-Banyan fabric
  • non-blocking provided destinations are unique [no output port contention]
